Captures Impassioned Emotions

Thrice again, Pamela Beckford captures love in all its intricate forms in this, her third solo poetry publication, “Love Aflame.”
“Love Aflame” takes the reader to every level, every form, every interpretation, and every emotion that could possible exist between lovers. As in her two previous poetry books, the poems are arranged such that if savored and read in order, the reader comes away with a love story. Conversely, each poem can stand alone as individual works that need no others to bookend it.
Her titles are well-thought out, skillfully descriptive, and temptingly provocative: “Igniting Flames,” “Edge of Ecstasy,” “Intoxicating Scent,” “On the Shelf”, “Do You Ever?”, and “Vulnerable,”. Each is touching and formidable, alluring and tempting invitations for readers to savor the verse.
And, what verse! Pamela expertly captures impassioned emotions with an ease that makes the reader comfortable and eager to turn the page to delight in more.
I highly recommend Pamela Beckford’s “Love Aflame” for anyone who was loved, loves, wants to be loved, or just loves love and being in love. “Love Aflame” would make a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift, too. Why not pick up your copy and read it with your love over a sensual candlelight dinner?

Another Sweet and Spicy Collection

Pamela Beckford has created another great collection of romance poems. Some of them are sweet and some of the them are hot, which really shows the poet's ability in evoking emotions. There's a good variety of styles and I really enjoy how she includes an explanation of each one at the end of the book. That addition creates a sense of 'you can do this too'. I would recommend especially being so close to Valentine's Day.

Emotions of the Hungry Heart

All poetry is personal to the writer, the reader and the recipient. Filled with lust and love, these poems will give you an edge at reaching out to the one you love and touching their heart and soul with words to be cherished. Love Aflame is a sexy collection of poetry inspired by love that will have your partner swooning and longing to be embraced in your arms. Some of the poems demonstrate the angst of being separated and an impassioned desire to be together. They made me think about what it must be like to have a lover serving overseas and the things you would whisper to that person through the distance every night, the emotions of the hungry heart.
This collection of love poems has them sultry and sweet. There are short poems you can memorize easily to whisper in your lover’s ear, and longer poems that will leave your lover breathless when read aloud. Pamela notes each poem with its form and there is a form index in the back explaining how they are achieved for those who wish to understand more or try their hand at their own creation.
