About the Author
Mae Krell is a teenage girl, aged fourteen when published. She lives in New York City, and recently discovered her love of writing as a result of her eighth grade teacher. She aspires to become a musician in the future, but would like to do as much as she possibly can with her life. Since beginning to write, she has built a name for herself though her instagram accounts, @eeriebones and @maekrell , which combined have over 25,000 followers. Pure Talent and Authenticity

I've already read this book over 5 times. There is a poem for every emotion and feeling. Mae is so talented and I look up to her so much as a teenager myself. I find that this book really explains what I can't even put into words myself.

When I opened this book and realized it has been written by a 14 year old I was excited to see that someone so young has been published, but my standards for the poems weren't set too high. I expected the poems to have originality and passion but it felt like she was just taking whatever she looked at and started writing it down. Some poems are pretty good though, I'll give her that. It's a pretty short book also, so I wouldn't get it if you're expecting a long term book to take on a trip or something.

Honestly. I didn't think I would enjoy that, but boy was I wrong!
I found my self connecting with so many things said and it broke my heart knowing so many people face the pain and emotions that overwhelm me.
If you like short poems, especially if they don't rhyme, give this book a try.
I finished it less than 20 minutes and I am completely satisfied.
