A sexy, provocative read

I enjoyed this volume of very short, and what seem to me interconnected, stories about a submissive male who has turned over the reins of his power to what is briefly described as some kind of futuristic "pleasure model" of a dominatrix. Succubus 2.0 by Declan Heyse is not sexually explicit femdom erotica, in terms of bodies and action; but instead watchful, occasionally ominous monologues from the domme--some of them implying that the sub may well have bitten off more than he can chew.
There are lines such as "I...have more control than I've ever allowed you to realize" and "I'm going to show you just how much of a dark side I truly have." The elliptical style of storytelling sometimes left me wanting more, because we never get details of exactly HOW she's going to show that dark side. And at one point the domme voice speaks of a "betrayal" and I wondered what that betrayal consisted of.
On the other hand, the epigrammatic tone of some of the lines called to mind the psychological complexity of the femdom experience: "You'll create the power over yourself that you hope to feel me use against you."
Other times, the stories don't feel interconnected, and the monologue (to me, at least) seems to come not from some kind of femdom android or pleasure model but from an actual woman who has now become a man's domme--with all the emotional hazards that could lead to.
I think Succubus 2.0 would sound very sexy being read aloud by a woman to a man, evoking a dominant-submissive atmosphere that could lead to some interesting scenes. Check it out for a provocative read; you'll find yourself thinking about, and re-reading, many of its lines afterward.

An enjoyable collection of very short stories revolving around hypnosis and mind-control

An excellent collection of erotic, though not graphically sexual, very short stories each revolving around the concept of hypnosis, mind control, autonomy, and human programmability.
The short stories in this collection, each little more than a page, individually depict a scene told in an almost poetic prose and together add up to a coherent thought experiment in free-will, sexual desire, and mind control.
Very much worth the price.

In these short short stories (none are more than 3 Kindle pages long), Declan Heyse introduces us to the strange, mind bending world of mental dominance. There are only two characters - the reader, and the Voice. What the Voice says is at times comforting, soothing, reassuring, and at times terrifying, unyielding, unrelenting. She will draw you in, stroke your face, look you in the eye, ask you if this is what you want, wait for a reply, and then, She will own you. Delve into this world turned all around, upside down and backwards, and feel exhilarated at dangling for Her pleasure, and for yours as well.
