KILLING ME SOFTLY

I came across this book, at a suggestion from a friend, not knowing what to expect. I had no idea what was in store for me. It was a treat for my eyes and a feast for my soul, (always is, as I sit and go back to it when I feel I need it). For me, it leaves me feeling like I found a friend in spirit, intrigued and wondering what the story is behind the pages. I even dig the way the words are placed upon the page. It's a special way about it that can only be discovered for oneself. Filled many feelings that left me feeling love, humor, irony, sadness and longing. It left me with the feeling of "killing me softly". Looking forward to see what else the author has to give.

The words portrayed in this book were not only beautifully written, but most of these poems spoke directly to my soul. The author is brilliant, talented, and has a true gift for finding the right words from within and portraying them into a book and share with the the world. I cannot wait for his next masterpiece.
