About the Author
Everett Graffeo graduated from Graceland University with a BA in religion, followed by a MA in recreation and outdoor education from Indiana University. He lived and served in many places around the world for 40 years as a minister in Community of Christ. He and his wife Judy live in Independence, Missouri, They have three married children, eight grandchildren, and friends around the world.

but this book is a wonderful, flowing

I am not usually a reader of poetry, but this book is a wonderful, flowing, poetic reflection of a life well lived. He shares with us experiences that are relational, moving, challenging and humbling. From his beginning poems reflecting on life in small town Iowa, to the peoples of nations around the world, we gather knowledge and understanding of our common brotherhood. I highly recommend this book.

I know the author and as he shared the poetic expressions of his life, tears welled in my eyes. Some of his very personal experiences brought to the front of my treasured memories of my own. That is the gift of poetry when it evokes memories and emotions common to us all.
