"The Eyes Of Those Who Look Upon Your Work" ...

The very versatile and contempory author Jürgen Olschewski presents us with a collection of his wonderful poetry. His selection originates from nearly two decades of work and covers a wide range of diversity within almost 100 brilliant poems. Diversification of themes, style of composition, language, message and thoughts. Even what appears to be simple cries or a mere train of thoughts at first, miraculously creates its very own poetry - sometimes even an accompanying tune.
Although the creation date sometimes lies way back, the more relevant than ever truth (and premonition) is somewhat heartbreaking: Mea culpa" or Moll" come to mind as extraordinary examples ... The love and childhood memory thematic poems are beautiful descriptions of the simplest little moments of love (bits) together shared or fond legacy (childhood) observation - often reminiscent and reflective, but they are moments of forever ... Orange", The Wrong Story", Sonnenblumen" or The Town", I consider the most brilliant among those ... Highly sensitive and very thoughtful ... Other great selections speak for themselves by their title alone: Leavings", Bit Players and Walk-Ons" - and display the (sad) reality in the most poetic and even consoling way.
The author Jürgen Olschweski connects universally. There are feelings shared, thoughts, concerns and maps and experiences any of us know and can relate to. Each of us will approach every single poem very differently and for very different reasons - but then such is life.
