Ha Ha Ha *********POSSIBLE SPOILERS LIE AHEAD************
By Elizabeth Bennet
I give my rating with some apprehension because I am still going continue with part 3. I need to know how it all ends. My rating has dropped to two and a half stars from Part 1 because in order to be a well written author it is important to have an understanding of the English language. Grammar is equally important and the author is definitely struggling in both areas. The story is such that I want to know more it is the style and sentence forms that is distracting and pulling me from the story. It is crucial times that this takes place. Moments you want to sink in the words that these occurrences take place.
I was at a doctors visit while reading this and while in the waiting room I burst out into laughter. When I reviewed Part 1 I mentioned how the couple seemed to connect faster than felt natural to me. Part 2 brings Elise and Hugh face to face for the second time and now as the two reconnect they profess undying love for the other. This left me shaking my head but what brought out my outburst in the waiting room was Elise reaches up to kiss his ghostly mouth when suddenly Hugh gets a human body. Shallowly Hugh says I have a body it is your love that has given me a human form. Now those are my words partially but the effect is the same. The two without skipping a beat pour out in passion and this was my second outburst. "She dreamt of this so long...! Hugh covered them with a blanket as he stood on top of her. He returned to her lips, to her neck and breasts, paralyzing Elise with those burning lips on his." and then, " As his male"hood explored her secret, warm cave Hugh 's tongue explored the rosy peaks of her breasts, sucking them gently; her nipples firmed instantly under his touch.
So by now this man in the waiting room is peering over my shoulder because I couldn't help myself with my giggles. The wording continues with, "he was exhausted and breathing as if air wasn't enough was all he could do. He almost crushed near her, catching up his breath." Later she moved the sheet aside and took the fine robe on. This is done frequently with their interaction, " It's lovely, Hugh! Let's go, please, please!" said her cuddling a bit, mind you Hugh is still in bed so I'm not sure who she was cuddling. It is either, " said her/him" or ," responded him/her." The two spat the next morning because she wants to go home but at this point neither one addresses that he was a ghost and has been dead for 5 years they just continue for a while as though nothing astounding took place.
It became annoying to read things phrased so strange and then there was the word you'll used instead of you'd or other words that were the wrong present and past tense forms. Some sentences appear broken English as though the authors first language is not English. That all being said it is the lack of depth the author relies on between the H/h to be romance. If you want to prove a strong love relationship interaction between the H/h early on is important. The first conversation the pair have makes you feel as though you skipped pages. The second they are madly in love and you are left with whiplash. So why do I want to continue?
The story has yet to provide the whole purpose to what has already taken place and I hate not fully understanding and so I am continuing on to part three but I cannot ignore the problems I have had up to this point. There is also Elise changing Hugh's last name from Portman to Peterson.

unexpected

The title was riveting and drew me like a moth to the light. The story is about a ghost (Hugh) and a woman named Elise. The concept is so novel and also erotic in nature.
Hugh was murdered and his anguished soul wanders over for anyone who can feel his presence or hear him and Elise is that person who can bring justice for his murder. Elise tried to help this English ghost the best way she knows among all the skeptics but in vain.
She feels Hugh’s helplessness. But what could she do without any evidence? She cries herself to sleep. It was too much for Hugh to see this lovely young woman in pain for him. He tries to soothe her but without any physical body how can he hold her? Resigned, he speaks soothingly to Elise sitting beside her in her bed.
She cannot see or touch him. But she’s in love with him. How badly she wants to just hold him.
Hugh holds her anyway and kissed the corner of Elise’s mouth, felt those soft lips. Wait.. what? Opening her eyes Elise sees Hugh, like in flesh and blood. Hugh is as stupefied as Elise, how could that be. He was in a human body, how is that even possible?
All that matters now is, he is there with her and his aching need for her to touch her, taste her, and sample every inch of those decadent self of Elise. Her expectant eyes, trembling lips, tantalizing neck all of her.
Well, are those wishes met? To find out you must read the book.I especially, enjoyed their spontaneous date at the secluded meadow beside a small hill where they forgot themselves into each other.

Incredible journey into the Paranormal Romance world
By Johnathon
An incredible journey into the Paranormal Romance world. I picked up the first copy and when I saw there was a part two, I picked it up immediately!
One of the best books I've read, even for a short story. I hope the entire series gets released onto physical copy as one so I can pick it up! ...Gotta go read again! LOL
